Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Texas is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer who will provide engineering design support and expertise in fire safety systems, building codes, and related hazards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in engineering and over 2 years of experience in fire protection design. Key responsibilities include supporting facility fire safety systems, conducting code reviews, and preparing technical reports. The position requires a willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 2+ years of experience in the design and construction of fire protection systems is necessary.
• Knowledge of NFPA Codes & Standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering design and specifications for facility fire safety systems.
• Conduct fire/life safety code reviews and analyses.
• Prepare and present technical reports on fire protection.
