Job summary

Arora Engineers in Irving, TX is seeking a senior Fire Protection Engineer to lead fire/life safety system design for diverse facilities. You will independently develop FLS designs in accordance with NFPA codes, perform risk analyses, and communicate with clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

You will manage projects, supervise staff, ensure QA/QC, coordinate with architects and engineers, and prepare technical documents, drawings, and specifications while guiding junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years in fire protection.
• PE license or CFPS preferred; detailed knowledge of NFPA codes required.
• Proficiency with NFPA standards and building codes; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Fire/Life Safety staff and project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with architecture, structure and MEP teams; liaise with clients.
• Prepare technical documents, drawings, and specifications; QA/QC reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development efforts.
