Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time experience in fire protection related work.
• Education substitution allowed: 1 year of education per 1 year experience, up to 4 years.
• Preferred: strong knowledge of suppression inspections and FIRES/ACCELA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train lower-level inspectors within the unit.
• Review work by field inspectors and witness suppression testing when needed.
• Conduct field performance evaluations and audits of inspections.
• Act as Deputy Chief Inspector during absences and enforce conduct policies.
