Job summary
Gigantes Group is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer (Technical Focus) to deliver highly technical fire protection and life safety engineering work for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and mission-critical facilities. This role emphasizes deep technical involvement, design leadership, and mentoring without BD targets.
You’ll work in a respected consultancy environment, collaborating with architects, engineers, and AHJs while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance
Qualifications
- 8–15+ years of fire protection engineering experience.
- PE license in Fire Protection Engineering (required or in process).
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, IBC/IFC, and local codes.
- Experience in a consulting engineering environment.
- Desire to focus on technical excellence rather than sales or BD.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery of fire protection and life safety engineering projects.
- Perform detailed code consulting, life safety analysis, and system design.
- Design and review fire alarm, sprinkler, smoke control, and special hazard systems.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and AHJs.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and consistency across project deliverables.
