Interface Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer/Designer to lead fire protection design projects in Los Angeles, CA, within a hybrid work model (2 days in-office).

You will drive water-based and special hazard systems, perform hydraulic calculations, and provide strong code analysis and client coordination. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, expert NFPA/I-Codes knowledge, design leadership, and willingness to travel for site visits.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in fire protection system consulting and design.
Expert knowledge of NFPA standards and I-Codes.
Specialization in fire sprinkler systems, code consulting, and other water-based systems design.
Design lead experience and willingness to travel for site visits.

Responsabilités

Fire sprinkler system design and water-based fire protection solutions.
Hydraulic calculations and building code analysis.
Evaluate existing fire protection and alarm systems.
Prepare due diligence reports and project specifications.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
