Job summary

Peyton Resource Group seeks a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to design, evaluate, and implement fire protection and life safety systems for mission-critical healthcare facilities. Hybrid work with travel to project sites in the San Antonio area is required.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Fire Protection Engineering (or related) and at least five years of relevant experience, with three years in the last four years, plus the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum five years of engineering design and construction experience for mechanical infrastructure management.
• At least three years of qualifying experience in the past four years.

Responsibilities

• Design and review fire protection and life safety systems for healthcare/government facilities.
• Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Perform field assessments, inspections, and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project design and execution.
