Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) in Richland, WA, seeks a qualified Fire Protection Engineer to implement the Fire Protection Program, conduct inspections, and review technical documents. The role emphasizes safeguarding workers, the public, and the environment while ensuring safety and quality in all activities.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining fire protection analyses and assessments, processing exemptions, and overseeing maintenance of protection systems.

Qualificações

• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• BS degree with 10+ years for Grade 20.
• BS degree with 12+ years for Grade 21.
• Familiarity with IBC, NFPA, OSHA requirements affecting facility safety and equipment design.
• Professional Member grade in SFPE or registered Fire Protection Engineer.
• DOE Orders/Standards experience and nuclear industry exposure.

Responsabilidades

• Implement the CPCCo Fire Protection Program through inspections, assessments, design and technical document reviews, and effective communication of fire protection controls and objectives to project personnel.
• Develop, review, maintain, and implement fire protection documents such as Fire Hazards Analysis and Facility Fire Protection Assessments.
• Runs the CPCCo FPP by performing programmatic assessments, identifying and implementing improvements, and periodic procedure reviews.
• Processes requests for exemptions, variances, deviations, or equivalency evaluations from fire protection standards and requirements.
• Support CPCCo safety culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect workers, property, the public, and the environment.
• Provide fire protection system maintenance oversight and reviews.
