OLA Consulting Engineers, PC is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer with 5–8 years of US consulting experience in fire protection system design. The role involves fieldwork, analyses, and coordination with NYC and Westchester offices, with in-person duties.

Strong communication and documentation skills are essential. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering, knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit a plus), and readiness to manage projects and junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering (minimum).
• Five to eight years of US consulting experience in fire protection.
• Familiarity with NYS/NYC codes and International Building Code.

Responsibilities

• Field investigation, analysis, and design for fire protection systems.
• Production of contract documents including floor plans and specifications.
• Management and direction of junior engineers; construction administration and project management.
