BurnBot is seeking a Deputy Director of Fire Programs to lead the Fire Program from concept to execution, spanning fire response and prescribed fire operations. The role oversees portions of the program in the absence of the DFP and drives field-ready systems across multiple regions.

The ideal candidate translates strategic vision into field operations, leads high-performing teams in high-risk environments, and serves as a credible force multiplier for BurnBot's mission.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of wildland fire experience in federal, state, local, or private contexts.
• Demonstrated experience in wildfire suppression operations and prescribed fire planning.
• Proven ability to build and scale operational programs from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead BurnBot's Fire Program leadership across response and prescribed fire operations.
• Align fire operations with acreage, revenue, and readiness targets.
• Develop SOPs, playbooks, and go/no-go frameworks for field operations.
• Recruit, develop, and lead Fire Operations Specialists and Fire Module Leaders.
• Plan toward revenue targets, cost structures, and deployment economics.
