Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning required.
Three (3) years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.

Responsibilities

Oversees fire prevention, permitting, code compliance, and education programs.
Leads a team of fire code and permitting professionals and collaborates with facilities and local fire authorities.
Reviews plans, permits, and testing to ensure code compliance and timely project initiation.
Provides on-site support for university events and incidents as needed.
