Carroll County Government is seeking a Fire & EMS Analyst to provide senior-level administrative support, coordinating department operations, budgets, procurement, records, and confidential information. Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college in a related field.
• Three or more years of related experience.
• A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior level administrative resource for the agency and coordinate continuity among administrative elements.
• Administer the budgetary and procurement functions of the department and be the primary resource for the financial management system.
• Develop and maintain records including roster, phone list, emergency contacts, and photographic library; preserve confidentiality.
• Update the department website and social media; write posts for news, events, public education, and releases.
• Liaise with the County Commissioners to coordinate department appearances.
• Provide dedicated admin support for partner organizations, including advisory councils.
• Respond to Public Information Act requests and guide staff in handling confidential information.
