Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt of requests for fire/medical services on assigned shifts.
• Dispatch appropriate personnel and apparatus in response to calls.
• Develop and implement training programs for dispatch staff.
• Perform quality control audits of emergency calls and procedures.
• Recommend and test new hardware/software used in emergency dispatch work.
• Ensure security of fire personnel and infrastructure at the Fire Communications Center.
