Job summary

DynaFire in Jacksonville, FL, seeks an Experienced Fire Alarm Service Test & Inspection Technician to test and inspect fire alarm systems, including DynaNet, and to troubleshoot and maintain equipment for minimal downtime and maximum performance.

The ideal candidate holds a two-year electronics degree or equivalent, NICET II, and has strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills; training in test equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• Two-year electronics degree or equivalent experience.
• NICET Level II certification or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service issues promptly and professionally with customers.
• Clearly communicate needs to all parties involved to complete the scope on time.
• Test, troubleshoot, program fire alarm panels and document work per codes and standards.
• Operate test equipment (volt meter, ohm meter, oscilloscope, multimeter, tone generator, battery tester).
• Train and instruct customers on proper equipment use.
