Job summary

Ace Electric is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Technician to install, program, and service fire alarm systems in Columbus, GA with hybrid on-site work. You will lead installation projects and crews, interact with customers on system integration, and maintain project budgets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related roles, NICET II or higher preferred, a valid driver's license, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills to support customers across Georgia and Florida.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position/field.
NICET II certification or higher preferred.
License: Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses and repairs physical security systems at the customer location in an efficient and timely manner with the objective of restoring systems to full functionality.
Performs preventative maintenance as required by service and maintenance contract.
Troubleshoots issues remotely utilizing provided software and an internet connection.
Travels to customer locations through Florida and Georgia on a continuous day to day basis.
Works independently to research and resolve issues with equipment.
Performs special projects and other duties assigned.
Assists with other technical support issues, as needed.
