Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Service Technician in Duluth, GA to service, test, program and troubleshoot commercial fire alarm systems. You will work with addressable/networked systems, mentor junior techs and travel within a ~2 hour radius from Duluth.

The role emphasizes customer-facing support, problem solving and adherence to safety and code requirements. On-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial fire alarm experience focused on service
• Experience programming, troubleshooting and commissioning fire alarm systems
• Ability to diagnose advanced fire alarm issues
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial fire alarm systems
• Program and commission addressable and networked fire alarm systems
• Interface with customers, facility personnel, fire marshals and AHJs
• Provide exceptional customer service in the field
• Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance
• Travel within approximately two-hour radius from the Duluth office
• Participate in on-call support rotation
