MetroPower is seeking an experienced Technician 3, Senior Fire Alarm technician in the United States (Georgia) to install, terminate, test, and maintain fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial projects. The role requires reading blueprints, ensuring safety and code compliance, troubleshooting, and supporting on-time installations while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 years' experience in fire alarm system installation and troubleshooting.
  • NICET II Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect work areas and perform Job Hazard Analysis prior to starting work to ensure a safe jobsite and compliance with company safety standards.
  • Review daily tasks, scheduling, equipment, tools, and material needs to maintain project efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze blueprints and prepare for upcoming tasks by anticipating equipment, procedures, and training needs.
  • Complete post-installation documentation, timesheets, materials reconciliation, and daily logs.
  • Run/terminate fire alarm cabling and install devices including Fire Alarm Control Panels and Power Supplies; perform programming.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure system functionality and performance; operate vehicles and equipment as required.

Education

High School Diploma
NICET II Certification preferred
