The ideal candidate has 3+ years in the fire and life safety industry, understands relevant codes, and can work independently while guiding junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3+ years in fire and life safety industry.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm systems and troubleshooting methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service of fire alarm and suppression systems independently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Complete standard service calls without direct supervision.
• Interpret system drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment for tasks.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and company policies.
• Accurately complete service reports and inspection records.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Provide guidance to entry-level technicians as needed.
