Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to perform maintenance and service of fire alarm systems independently, diagnose issues, and complete standard service calls without supervision.

You will interpret drawings, use testing equipment, and ensure codes are met while documenting service records. Travel to job sites and support junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3+ years in fire and life safety industry.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fire alarm systems independently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Complete standard service calls without direct supervision.
• Interpret system drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Provide guidance to entry-level technicians as needed.
