Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Fire Alarm Service Technician to independently service and maintain fire alarm systems. The role requires diagnosing issues, following specifications, and performing tasks without supervision in commercial, industrial, or construction environments.

Candidates should have at least 3+ years in fire and life safety, a high school diploma, and NICET Level I or higher preferred. Some roles may involve travel and must meet safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3+ years in fire and life safety service as a technician.
• NICET Level I or higher preferred.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems, components and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service of fire alarm systems independently.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions.
• Complete standard service calls without direct supervision.
• Interpret system drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Maintain safe work environment and accurate service records.
• Communicate with customers, team members and supervisors.
• Travel to job sites and work in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
