Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an experienced construction sales representative to grow our large projects division, focusing on selling new fire alarm systems. You will work closely with electrical and general contractors to deliver turn­key or partial turnkey solutions.

The role requires knowledge of fire alarm installation requirements, proposal and estimating experience, and the ability to build strategic partnerships. Competitive commission structure and strong benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience with EST 4 and EST Edge platforms.
• Experience with mission critical facility fire protection systems.
• NICET II or equivalent certification.
• Experience utilizing quoting tools Bidnet And Bid Tracer.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Bluebeam and Procore.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network to identify new sales leads.
• Sales focusing on fire protection with a focus on fire alarm systems.
• Know­ledge of fire alarm system installation requirements and methods.
• Experience writing proposals and estimating.
• Establish customer rapport and build strategic partnerships.
• Meet yearly sales goals set by the sales manager.
• Communicate with customers to identify needs and suggest solutions.
• Demonstrate product/functions to customers based on their needs.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and manage post-sale issues.
• Maintain communication with existing customers about new products and enhancements.
• Maintain detailed sales activity reports and territory forecasts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
