Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Fire Alarms Systems - Sr Field Service Technician to deliver high-level technical support and service for our customers. You will troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and train customers and junior technicians at the Acton, MA site on an onsite schedule.

Reporting to the Sr Field Service Manager, you will perform NFPA inspections, diagnose faults in fire alarm components, program FACPs and integrated systems like EBI, and document all actions. Travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical service or field service role.
• Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• System Testing & Inspections: Perform periodic tests and yearly NFPA fire alarm inspections to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Diagnosis & Repair: Use tools like multimeters and hand tools to troubleshoot and resolve faults in fire alarm components.
• System Programming: Program various fire alarm control panels (FACPs) and integrated systems like EBI, ensuring adherence to site plans and contract requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and service actions.
• Technical Guidance: Train customers on system operation and mentor junior technicians in fire safety standards and troubleshooting techniques.
• Travel up to 100%.
