Job summary

Sobieski Life Safety, a division of J.F. Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, Inc., is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Inspector in Newark, DE.

The role focuses on inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems to ensure NFPA and local code compliance. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
• NICET II / WBC in testing and inspection of fire sprinkler systems required.
• Proficiency with NFPA 25, 72 & 13 electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and general safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems per NFPA codes and local regulations.
• Work with fire alarms, wet/dry sprinkler, and special hazard suppression systems (e.g., clean agent, CO2, foam).
• Prepare reports and document findings; communicate with clients and team to ensure compliance.
