Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking a Project Manager - Fire Alarm Systems in the Greater Boston area to oversee installation projects from inception to completion.

You will bring at least 10 years of experience on active commercial sites, coordinating with multiple trades to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. NFPA knowledge and strong communication are essential; NICET preferred. Salary and logistics align with market norms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing fire alarm installation projects.
• Experience on active commercial construction sites coordinating with multiple trades.
• Experience designing fire alarm systems and creating submittal packages.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• NICET Certification preferred and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of multiple and simultaneous projects.
• Oversee project execution and successful completion.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders and related documentation.
• Coordinate with other trades to maintain schedule.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to the Operations Manager.
• Manage procurement and budget to meet estimates.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, engineers, and field personnel.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specs.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, inspections, testing, and closeout activities.
• Provide leadership to field teams to ensure quality and safety.
