Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret system design plans and building drawings.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• 5+ years' experience servicing or installing fire safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, inspecting, and testing Fire Alarm Systems to manufacturer specifications.
• On-site emergency troubleshooting, programming, and repairs of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Analyze blueprints, schematics, and drawings of Fire Alarm Systems and related electrical systems.
• Diagnose problems or failures to identify repairs.
• Commission systems, including loading software and implementing modifications.
• Document commissioning details and report deficiencies/progress.
• Create detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needs.
• Identify code and non-conformance issues.
• Report activities completed or deferred, or requiring action.
