Job summary

Century Fire Protection LLC is seeking a dedicated technician to install, test, and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings in the Houston area.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and local codes while documenting all work. The role requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years of experience, with NICET certification preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of fire alarm installation or low voltage electrical experience preferred.
• NICET or other fire alarm certifications preferred but not required.
• Willingness to pursue licensure or certification as required by state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm devices, control panels, wiring, and conduit per drawings.
• Test and inspect newly installed systems to verify functionality.
• Troubleshoot installation issues under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 72, NFPA 70, local codes.
• Document installations, changes, and testing results.
• Coordinate with other trades and project personnel.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
• Support service or retrofit projects as needed.
