Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2+ years’ experience, NICET II certification, and eligibility for a government security clearance; strong design, documentation and NFPA/code know-how are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Fire Protection, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline with 2+ years of experience.
• NICET II in fire detection and alarm required.
• Clearance/Citizen Type: U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create a sustainable framework to develop training objectives regarding programming and commissioning.
• Lead technicians and engineers during in-house testing and commissioning phases.
• Perform programming and troubleshooting of fire detection and alarm systems.
• Provide training on operations and maintenance and produce close-out documentation.
• Support day-to-day project operations and site surveys.
• Produce takeoff sheets, BOMs, and contribute to proposals.
• Participate in design of FA and mass notification systems and ensure code-compliant deliverables.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications; maintain project records.
