Job summary
Prime Partners is seeking an experienced NICET II Certified Fire Alarm Field Engineer / Manager to support a large national retail program. This role serves as a technical expert validating installations, troubleshooting complex systems, ensuring quality, and supporting field teams in delivering reliable life safety solutions.

Qualifications
- NICET II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems is required.
- 5+ years of experience with commercial fire alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and related standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass background/drug screening.
- Experience with notifiers and major life-safety brands is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Validate commercial fire alarm installations for spec compliance and codes.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex fire alarm issues.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and QA inspections.
- Provide technical leadership to field technicians and project teams.
- Review installation quality and verify correct implementation.
- Coordinate with PMs, customers, and subcontractors to complete projects.
- Prepare service reports, inspection docs, and project records.
- Ensure NFPA standards, local codes, and safety policies are followed.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and represent the org professionally.
