Job summary

Intelligent Fire Systems & Solutions is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer to lead design, installation, testing, and maintenance of advanced fire alarm systems. You will ensure compliance with NICET, NFPA codes, and local regulations while delivering high-quality safety solutions for clients.

The role covers design, project management, and mentorship across Las Vegas, Reno, and Valencia offices, with travel to project sites as required. NICET IV certification is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fire alarm engineering
• NICET IV certification required
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and local building regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA codes and client specs
• Lead projects from inception to completion including planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
• Ensure compliance with NICET standards and local codes; prepare test reports
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other disciplines; manage site visits and testing
• Travel to project sites as needed and conduct client meetings
