Qualifications

• Prepare fire alarm designs for commercial, residential and multifamily projects.
• Review drawings, calculations, and deliverables for quality and code compliance.
• Coordinate design requirements with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Support department growth through mentoring and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fire alarm system design drawings, layouts and project documentation.
• Review fire alarm designs for accuracy and code compliance.
• Apply NFPA 72 and local codes to system designs.
• Coordinate design requirements with internal teams and other building systems.
• Mentor junior design personnel and establish design processes and workflows.
• Support projects involving large residential and multifamily, BDA, two-way, sprinkler, access control, and security systems as applicable.
