Job summary

blazetalent is seeking a senior software engineer to drive end-to-end initiatives in a consumer fintech environment. You will own projects from ideation to deployment, building with JavaScript across the platform, a Node backend, and React front-end, while scaling our core API to handle millions of requests daily.

You should have 5+ years of full-time software experience, strong JS/Python/Java skills, and a proven track record of shipping production-grade apps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge in JavaScript, Python, Java or equivalent languages.
• Experience building scalable production-level applications.
• Clear communication and ability to break complex ideas into manageable tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build and create with JavaScript across the platform. Build a reliable backend in Node and delightful user experiences in React.
• Build and scale our core API to handle millions of requests per day
• Investigate and debug issues using monitoring and logging tools, and create action items to resolve them.
• Contribute to code reviews and participate in interviewing new team members.
• Collaborate with the team to define the roadmap by understanding customers’ needs.
