Job summary

Envestnet's Tamarac development team is building a scalable portfolio management and trading platform used by RIAs. You will contribute to data ingestion, analytics, and cloud-native architectures while shaping the technical roadmap.

You will design and implement secure, high-performance services, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, data science, and DevOps teams. The role supports a hybrid/remote model, competitive compensation, and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in .NET, C#, RESTful APIs and database design.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis).
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability and agile/Scrum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable features or services.
• Lead technical design for small-to-medium features.
• Identify root causes and implement robust fixes.
• Optimize code for performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to coding standards.
• Improve CI/CD, testing practices and observability.
