Job summary

North Hospitality seeks a Senior Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of payments and fintech products for restaurant operators. You’ll work closely with Agile engineering teams, translate business needs into detailed technical requirements, and maintain a transparent roadmap using Jira.

You’ll excel at breaking down complex problems, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering high-value, reliable software in a fast-paced, developer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (BA or BS) or equivalent experience.
• Four years previous experience as a Product Manager, Product Engineer, Product Analyst, or similar technical product roles.
• Proven experience working with Agile software development teams.
• Strong proficiency with Jira and modern product management software.
• Product Owner Certification (CSPO, etc.) preferred.
• Payments or fintech industry experience highly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and technical depth; able to dive into system architecture, APIs, and data flows.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices; experience as a Product Owner on Scrum teams.
• Demonstrated ability to break down complex business and technical problems into actionable requirements and deliverables.
• Skilled in backlog management, roadmap planning, and cross-team coordination.
• Strong analytical skills; able to leverage data to drive prioritization and decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-value products.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product lifecycle for assigned product areas with emphasis on technical requirements and system integrations.
• Work with Agile engineering teams to break down complex business needs into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as Product Owner for one or more products; lead backlog grooming and sprint planning using Jira.
• Gather and synthesize input from internal teams and external partners; ensure alignment and transparency around decisions, progress, and trade-offs.
• Develop and own processes to collect, analyze, and present data for prioritization and release planning.
• Own and maintain a detailed product roadmap and backlog; communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
• Ensure deliverables meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done; manage escalations and expedited work.
