Job summary

Socure is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Consultant for Fintech in New Jersey to be the primary technical lead during the sales cycle. You will design onboarding and transaction risk workflows, demonstrate measurable impact on conversion and fraud losses, and collaborate with Sales, Data Science, Product, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 4+ years in a client-facing technical role such as solution consulting, sales engineering, professional services, or technical pre-sales within enterprise SaaS or data products.
• Meaningful fintech/payments experience—on onboarding, KYC/KYB, or fraud/risk workflows.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder pre-sales engagements end-to-end.
• Strong technical depth across SaaS and data architectures, including RESTful APIs, event-driven or batch data integrations, rules engines, analytics.
• Ability to translate complex statistical/technical concepts into actionable business recommendations for executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day technical expert for fintech and payments opportunities, partnering with fintech account teams.
• Lead discovery to map customers’ business models and risk posture to tailored Socure solution architectures.
• Design end-to-end identity and fraud workflows across Socure products and APIs.
• Collaborate with Data Science to scope and backtest POCs and translate results to executives.
• Partner with Product to feed fintech use cases into roadmaps and solution patterns.
• Create compelling demos, contribute to RFPs/RFIs, and help draft statements of work and pricing.
