Job summary

LendAPI is seeking a Front-End and Back-End Engineer to own the platform’s architecture remotely. You will guide design, ensure security and performance, and mentor the team in a fintech SaaS environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering, strong Python (Django, Celery) and React skills, and a track record of scalable, compliant systems for high-volume data and transactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in fintech or large-scale platforms.
• Expertise in Python (Django, Celery) and modern frontend (React).
• Experience building scalable systems handling thousands of requests per second.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and database optimization (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with AWS and DevOps tooling (Docker, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Platform Ownership: lead architecture, design, and development for scalable, secure systems.
• Technical Leadership: set code standards and mentor the team.
• Collaboration: work with product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver features.
• Integration Management: drive integrations with financial institutions and providers.
• Scalability & Optimization: identify bottlenecks and optimize performance under high load.
• Security & Compliance: ensure PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR adherence and best practices.
• Innovation: evaluate new tools and frameworks to enhance capabilities.
