LendAPI LLC is seeking an experienced Director/VP of Engineering to lead our fintech SaaS engineering team in Irvine, CA. You will architect scalable web applications using Django or FastAPI, mentor engineers, and drive DevOps practices to ensure reliability, security, and performance at scale.

Collaborate with product, design, and clients to align technical strategy with business goals, establish coding standards, and manage roadmaps and resources.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven Django and FastAPI experience building and scaling web apps.
• Experience with React and Angular frontend frameworks.
• Strong DevOps background: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Deep understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience in high-scale environments (millions of requests; 3k rps).
• PostgreSQL/Redis database design and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
