Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in mission-critical, low-latency environments.
• Deep expertise in low-latency and deterministic network design, including latency, jitter, and end-to-end traffic behavior.
• Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and multicast with global network design experience.
• Strong understanding of network hardware and vendor capabilities; hands-on research and validation.
• Experience designing hybrid cloud connectivity, including AWS networking constructs.
• Proven Python-based network automation and SSH-based configuration management.
• Familiarity with observability/telemetry platforms (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience leading technical research, proof-of-concept validation, and design for large-scale initiatives.
• Knowledge of security fundamentals, segmentation, access control, zero-trust in networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve low-latency, highly resilient network architecture across global data centers, co-location, and cloud-connected environments, focusing on deterministic packet forwarding, scalability, and operational consistency.
• Lead advanced routing design and implementation across BGP, OSPF, MPLS, multicast, hybrid cloud connectivity, traffic engineering, and high-availability patterns.
• Conduct deep technical research, lab validation, and pre-implementation testing with engineering and software teams to optimize exchange performance.
• Contribute to monitoring and telemetry strategy by defining visibility requirements and supporting tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Support development of technical standards, design documents, and regulatory or audit materials as needed.
