Job summary

Greenberg Traurig LLP seeks a senior Associate in its Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice. The role can be based in our Miami, DC, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix or Dallas office, with clients across industries nationwide.

Candidates should have at least 6 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience, including licensing/chartering and knowledge of BSA/AML, sanctions, third‑party risk, and consumer compliance. Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience.
• Experience with licensing/chartering.
• Knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, sanctions, third‑party risk management, consumer compliance).
• Enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory and compliance guidance to clients across industries.
• Conduct legal research and draft advisory memos and opinions.
• Support licensing and regulatory affairs for clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage client matters and deadlines.
