Job summary

DTCC in Coppell, TX is seeking a FinOps Practitioner to lead cloud financial optimization across AWS, Azure, and Snowflake environments. This role bridges Finance, Engineering, Architecture and Cloud Operations to ensure cloud investments meet business goals.

You will establish governance, cost allocation, and reporting practices, driving transparency and accountability while promoting fiscal discipline across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Deep working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Snowflake billing models.
• Experience managing multi-cloud cost governance and reporting.
• Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cost transparency.

Responsibilities

• Establish and mature FinOps capabilities across AWS, Azure, and Snowflake.
• Lead FinOps practices to optimize and govern cloud spend.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Product, and Cloud Operations.
• Define, track, and measure FinOps objectives with ongoing visibility.
• Develop and enforce cost allocation models and tagging standards.
• Establish governance for pricing models and cloud optimizations.
• Analyze cost data to identify savings opportunities and waste.
• Implement rightsizing, scheduling, and reserved capacity strategies.
• Influence architectural decisions via financial impact analysis.
• Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for cloud expenses.
• Build cloud spend models showing historical trends and unit-cost metrics.
• Communicate insights to senior leadership with dashboards and reports.
• Utilize FinOps tooling for continuous monitoring and reporting.
