Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior FinOps Infrastructure Engineer to optimize cloud spend across AWS and private cloud, including autoscaling, rightsizing, and automation. You will partner with engineering, finance, and product to translate cost data into actionable work and track savings against budgets.

You will implement IaC (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and cost attribution methods, delivering measurable savings and robust production practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/CIS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong AWS fundamentals with cost awareness and ability to translate usage into changes.
• Experience with Aurora PostgreSQL, ECS on Fargate, and cost-aware autoscaling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain FinOps tooling to detect waste and optimize spend across AWS and private cloud.
• Translate cost and usage data into actionable engineering work; track savings against budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and product to drive remediation, rightsizing, and scheduling automation.
• Document production practices with tests, logging, and observability to ensure reliable savings.
