Job summary

Idexcel seeks a Sr. Principal Technologist for FinOps across AWS, Azure, and GCP to maximize cloud value. You will partner with Development, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Solutions, Finance and Leadership to drive financial accountability and governance across a multi-cloud environment.

You will analyze cloud usage, develop budgeting/forecasting models, and implement cost-control measures. Strong analytical skills and experience in a large enterprise are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated FinOps experience in a multi-cloud environment.
• Experience building and enforcing cloud governance across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation knowledge.
• Ability to analyze complex cloud billing data and translate into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute FinOps strategies to optimize cloud spending across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Investigate and respond to cloud cost anomalies with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to governance frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
• Manage cloud financial reporting, including cost allocation, show-back and chargeback models.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve resource utilization.
• Provide guidance on cloud cost optimization and governance to stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay current with FinOps methodologies and emerging cloud technologies.
