AgileEngine is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering teams on cloud costs, spend optimization, and forecasting. You will partner with R&D to monitor AI/LLM spend, investigate anomalies, and deliver actionable optimization with Jira tickets and Slack channels.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience with cloud cost management focus.
• Ability to investigate spend anomalies and prepare root-cause analyses.
• Experience advising R&D/engineering teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Forecasting experience and aligning central forecasts with team plans.
• Familiar with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring.
• Proficient in documenting investigations in Jira and communicating via Slack.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder reporting.
• Availability to cover APAC business hours with PST/CST overlap.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Review monthly cloud spending with APAC colleagues and surface cost-saving opportunities.
• Investigate spend anomalies, produce root-cause analyses, and document in Jira.
• Contribute to monthly forecasting with team cohorts and capture engagement notes.
• Support showback reporting with AI/LLM cost drivers and cost education efforts.
• Maintain wiki documentation and provide timely cost-related updates.
• Respond to customer help requests and model team cost projections.
