Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter on a contract-to-hire basis based out of Omaha, NE. The role focuses on final punch list work for multi-family and commercial construction, including trim, doors, hardware, and cabinetry.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, completing punch list tasks, working with other trades, and maintaining safety and quality standards on site. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a finish carpenter or punch list carpenter on multi-family residential and commercial projects.
• Strong finish carpentry skills: trim, doors, hardware, cabinetry, blocking.
• Experience completing punch lists on apartment complexes and TI projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/construction plans.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in finish carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete punch list items as assigned by the project manager to meet quality standards.
• Perform finish carpentry tasks including blocking, trim installation, door hanging, hardware installation, and cabinetry work.
• Inspect completed work for deficiencies and perform repairs or adjustments.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure timely completion of punch list items and project schedules.
• Read blueprints and construct accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
