Job summary

Trilogy Federal is seeking a Project Manager/Senior Financial System Analyst to drive a large federal financial system implementation in Momentum Financials. You will lead an 8-10 person team, collaborate directly with the VA client, and coordinate data conversions and reporting across legacy and Momentum systems.

The role supports a hybrid Arlington VA location or full-time remote work, with responsibilities spanning data transition, validation, and stakeholder briefings.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent and 12 years in the industry, eight of which directly relate to the required area of expertise.
• Knowledge of OMB Circular A 136 Financial Reporting, USSGL, GTAS, DATA Act, SF 133.
• Hands‑on Technical Experience with Momentum Financials and cloud-based Momentum implementation.
• Ability to lead 8–10 financial management professionals and interact with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 8-10 across multiple teams on a large system implementation project.
• Support data transition activities, including migrating legacy financial data to Momentum for federal processes.
• Analyze legacy systems and feeder data flows to support data conversion.
• Identify target state requirements from stakeholders and brief leadership on mock conversions.
• Track requirements, defects, and workload using Agile tools.
• Serve as GL SME, reconcile legacy data with Momentum outputs and USSGL standards.
• Document payroll/non-payroll accruals and validate conversion journals.
• Validate post-conversion reporting for GTAS, SF-133, and DATA Act.
• Execute mock and go-live conversions, reconciling data and confirming readiness for new processes.
• Analyze, resolve, configure, and reconcile Momentum Financial reports.
