Job summary

United Airlines seeks a Senior Manager for Financial Systems to set strategy, govern the Controllership finance tech ecosystem, and partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and IT. Lead implementations, upgrades, and data integrity initiatives across ERP, FP&A, and related applications.

You will guide governance, access controls, and SDLC processes while coaching a team of professionals. This Chicago-based, hybrid role requires 2–3 days in the office weekly and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
• 5+ years related experience including 2+ years in project management and 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of core finance and accounting processes and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration, roadmap, and governance for core financial systems (ERP, FP&A, reporting, consolidation).
• Partner with finance and tech to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
• Oversee configuration, maintenance, upgrades, testing, integrations, and user support for financial systems.
