Berlitz, a global language learning company, is rebuilding its digital and financial platforms. We’re seeking a senior software engineer to own order-to-cash architecture and data contracts across HubSpot, Stripe, Adyen, Metronome, and NetSuite.

You will design and maintain integrations, reconcile payments with billing, bank settlements, and the ledger, and partner with Finance to document and monitor critical financial systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in financial, billing, or payments systems.
• Hands-on NetSuite development experience and solid accounting literacy.
• Strong integration engineering fundamentals and cross-team communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Own the architecture and data contracts for order-to-cash across HubSpot, Stripe, Adyen, Metronome, and NetSuite.
• Build and maintain integrations using SuiteScript, PSP APIs, webhooks, and Workato iPaaS.
• Design reconciliation between payment processors, billing, bank settlements, and the ledger.
• Lead efforts ensuring financial systems are well-documented, monitored, and trusted by Finance.

• Design reconciliation between payment processors, billing, bank settlements, and the ledger.

What you'll bring:

• 6+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in financial, billing, or payments systems.
• Hands-on NetSuite development experience and solid accounting literacy.
• Strong integration engineering fundamentals and cross-team communication skills.

What success looks like:

• First 90 days: understand current order-to-cash flows and take technical ownership of payments-to-ledger integration.
• First 6 months: new products bill, collect, and post correctly across entities and currencies.
• First year: financial systems are documented, monitored, and trusted by Finance.
