Job summary

AIR Communities, a leading owner and operator of multifamily housing, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the fast-paced FP&A team at the Denver Tech Center, Denver, CO. This is an in-office, five-days-per-week role emphasizing rigorous financial analysis and strategic planning.

You will work on month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and treasury management, while collaborating with leaders to drive business improvements and effective communication with executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive corporate finance experience with understanding of financial concepts, processes, modeling best practices and financial systems.
• Expert proficiency in Excel and comfort building complex models.
• Strong experience presenting to senior leaders and financial writing skills; FP&A background preferred.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Blue Prism, Power Apps, Python, machine learning, and VBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help leaders understand the business by collecting, analyzing, and presenting information.
• Contribute to diagnosing complex problems and implementing projects.
• Execute month-end close processes with crisp accuracy.
• Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and multi-year strategic planning including treasury and debt management.
• Prepare and explain monthly operational and financial reports for the executive team.
• Continuously develop skills, tools, and perspectives with the team.
