Job summary

Quantech Services Inc. seeks a Junior Financial Manager to support the Cyber and Networks Directorate at Hanscom AFB.

You will apply financial management and accounting functions to gather, analyze, and present information for program managers and customers, and prepare program budgets and reports with funding solutions. The role requires an active SECRET clearance, a BA/BS with 4-7 years of relevant experience (3 with DoD), and on-site work at Hanscom AFB, MA, five days a week.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 4-7 years of experience in a technical or professional financial discipline, 3 of which must be with DoD.
• Active SECRET security clearance.
• On-site role at Hanscom AFB, MA, five days per week.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and financial data analysis methodologies.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and accountable for FIAR-compliant reporting.

Responsibilities

• Apply financial management and accounting functions to gather, analyze, and present information for program managers and customers.
• Prepare program budgets and reports; draft solutions for funding requirements and improvements to financial systems or procedures.
• Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis, execution reporting, schedule analysis, and EVM; provide recommendations to the program office.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Use automated management information systems to perform fact-finding and analytical functions.
• Compile financial material for FIAR-compliant audits, internal control programs, self-assessments, and routine reporting.
• Assist with program-specific funds management documentation and the execution of automated models to aid decision-making.
• Prepare financial inputs for events such as BER, IBR, MDR, MAR, PMR, ASP, and IPT risk assessments.
• Draft documentation for Government review including P-DOCS, R-DOCS, POM, PRs, and MIPRs in accordance with FM policy.
• Maintain an independent audit trail to track and report the status of all funds (active, expired, and cancelled).
• Deliver quick-turnaround “what-if” funding assessments and ad-hoc reporting.
• Support AF or DoD exercises and simulations for real-world scenario readiness.
• Perform research and analysis for accounting issues using tools like CCaRS, CRIS, WAWF, and FM Suite.
