Job summary

Quantech Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join the Business Analytics team at Hanscom AFB, MA. This on-site role focuses on life cycle cost estimates for DoD weapon system programs and collaborating with cross-functional experts to deliver cost insights.

You will develop regression-based cost relationships, build complex cost models, analyze schedules, and support contract strategy development. A SECRET clearance and the required DoD experience are essential.

• 8+ years of experience with 5+ years in DoD
• Must have DoD Program Office experience
• Proficient in ACEIT and DoD Lifecycle Cost Estimating

Responsibilities

• Develop life cycle cost estimates for DoD weapon system programs
• Analyze historical data and develop cost estimating relationships using regression analysis

Can you translate quantitative data into insight? If so we want you to join our growing Business Analytics team at Quantech Services, Inc. Quantech has an immediate opening for a Senior Cost Analyst supporting the Electronic Systems (ES) PEO located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

• Collaborate with a team of Quantech cost analysts & subject matter experts on a variety of projects
• Develop life cycle cost estimates for DoD weapon system programs
• Analyze historical data and develop analogies and cost estimating relationships using regression analysis
• Understand technology trends and analyze impact on cost
• Analyze software program progress tracking tools (JIRA, Microsoft TFS, etc.) and develop metrics and insights for program managers
• Interview functional specialists in support of estimating methodology development
• Develop risk distributions for cost driver variables & cost estimating relationship equations
• Analyze program schedules and quantify schedule uncertainty
• Study, analyze, and develop metrics for complex modern software development programs
• Build complex spreadsheet-based program cost models used as decision analysis tools
• Apply statistics concepts to quantify the probability of success for program budget and schedule plans
• Conduct business case analyses, trade studies and economic analyses
• Assist program managers in development and execution of contract strategies and program plans Candidate Strengths:
• Proficient in analyzing datasets and developing statistical models, but also able to tackle problems by thinking outside of the box
• Technical fast learner with the ability to communicate with multiple functional teams to gather (programmatic/technical) data and translate it into cost impacts for the government
• Experienced problem solver, comfortable working in ambiguous environments with the ability to lead financial focused conversations with cross functional teams
• Approachable team player with the skillset to successfully work a variety of projects and take direction from multiple
• Experience/coursework using data science, machine learning, visualization and business intelligence tools a plus Job Requirements Requirements:
• MA/MS and 8+ Years w 5 in DoD OR BA/BS and 12 Yrs exp w 5 in DoD SECRET Clearance required
• Must have DoD Program Office experience
• Must be proficient in ACEIT and DoD Lifecycle Cost Estimating
• Possess the ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to their assigned tasks.
• Possess strong communication skills and utilize those skills to build relationships with supported customers.
