Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Senior FSR to take ownership of daily tasks in a customer-focused banking role. You will identify customer needs, open deposit accounts, and expand relationships through referrals, while managing consumer loans and adhering to bank standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 3+ years in customer service/sales, and solid PC skills. Prior banking experience is preferred, with strong organizational abilities and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more of Customer Service/Sales experience; banking exposure preferred.
• Strong PC skills and ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to analyze problems and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Personal Banker functions and own customer interactions from greeting to service completion.
• Identify customer needs through conversation and referrals to deepen customer relationships.
• Open new deposit accounts and explain features, pricing, and service options.
• Process consumer loans from start to finish and meet lending goals.
• Ensure accurate, confidential service aligned with SouthState Bank standards and regulatory requirements.
