Job summary

Withum is seeking a Financial Services Audit Supervisor to join our team. The role will be based in multiple offices, including New York City, East Brunswick, Whippany, and Orlando, and will involve leading audits from planning through completion, supervising staff, and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will work with seasoned CPAs and industry leaders, oversee budgets and timelines, and travel as needed to serve clients across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license.
• At least 3 years of public accounting experience with leadership of multiple engagements.
• Experience auditing healthcare systems and hospitals is preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team staff on planning and execution of audit engagements to provide world‑class service.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the audit engagement from staffing to financial reporting and conclusion.
• Provide supervision and support to staff, seniors, and supervisors and facilitate communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors or supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and advise on regulatory issues.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently and meet client deadlines.
